I met Floyd Johnson at a networking mixer hosted by my school, Ohio University. Floyd and I talked about design, activism, and projects we were working on. That night we exchanged numbers, and not even a week later he contacted me about helping with a collection! The National Champions collection was influenced by Ohio State Football and Ohio's sports culture. Being able to design for a renowned, lifestyle brand from my state meant a lot to me as a developing designer. Ohio Against The World is a brand for people wanting to showcase hometown pride and "making it happen" on a daily basis.
The objective was to contribute relevant concepts/ideas which lead to creating a flag graphic applicable for a t-shirt and enamel pin.
